Speeding it up. Green Polishing Solutions was hired by Fat Sal Studio City to transform a thrashed and colorless cement surface into a slick, polished concrete floor. They wanted it in midnight black to match the restaurant’s logo… and they wanted it fast. We met a series of challenges including working around other vendors— electricians, plumbers, carpenters—who were working against deadlines at the same time we were. We then met additional challenges, such as cooling the cement mix with bags of ice. It all worked so well that we were polishing the floor within 24 hours.
